Have you ever wondered what would happen to the world if zombies really did exist? What if one morning you woke up to your neighbors talking about rumors they heard about the recently deceased coming back to life? But not as our loved ones, no no much worse, as flesh eating creatures who attack indiscriminantly. (more…)
Could it really be worth the hype? Could it really be the Kung Fu epic we’ve been waiting for? Could the fight between Jet Li and Jackie Chan be as good as we’ve all imagined it would be?
Yeah collegehumor.com pretty much struck the nail on the head with that description of this Leetstreet Boys video. To find out why and watch the video click “read more”
Ok, I know what you’re thinking, “number 6? What’s left but the same old thing?” That’s what I thought at first too, but a lot has changed…..
Yay! Its finally here! The very first episode of the Spark Box Show has finally come to be. What does this mean? Well it means that I might have some serious RSS work to do if this doesnt work properly, but other than that it means that you have something available to use up one more 1/2 hour this week! What could be better? …don’t answer that. Don’t forget that if you like the show, you can really help us with some positive iTunes feedback. If you didn’t, come join the forums and tell us why. You can find a thread devoted to each episode under sparkboxshow.com lobby – sparkboxshow.com podcast.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve got a sweet spot for over the top asian cinema. The exaggerated and impossible fight scenes do it for me. I’m not talking the super cool Bruce Lee stuff where it’s just him whooping ass. Don’t get me wrong I like the regular stuff, I just need something more kinda like my porn. I’m talking wuxia* or any parody of it, kinda like Crouching Tiger or Shaolin Soccer. Why am I bringing this up? Oh you know why…
Just a reminder, it’s this weekend in good old New York, NY. I know I’m going to! Hope to see you there. Last years was a blast. The Jacob Javitz center was absolutely packed with nerds from end to end… (more…)
With some regret I finally just had to “put it down.” Like the dog at the end of ‘Old Yeller,’ Frontlines: Fuel of War has become a derranged, rabid version of it’s previously happy yellow lab self…
Honestly I never had any wanting to play any of the other Tom Clancy games. They looked ok but never really made me go “OOOOOOH” or “AHHHHHH”. But Andy and I were looking for a new game to waste some time on and we both had a bunch of games we wanted to trade in, so we decided to give it a go…. And I was never so happy to take a chance on a game. From the start I was hooked and just could not stop playing. (more…)
There is no bigger thrill in the world than in knowing that no matter where you are, no matter what you’re doing, you can, at any time during the day, login to the net and see a 3D animation of a baked potato with facial hair and bad teeth named “Grumf” bobbing back and forth to the tune of Barry White’s “My First, My Last, My Everything”, in a manner that can only be described as “disturbing”.

I am very fond of YouTube. In my humble opinion, it is the greatest invention ever of mankind (with the only possible exception being the toothbrush). The excitement! The culture! The art! The random acts of insane backyard wrestling that make even “The Rock” squeamish! How did the early American pioneers ever survive without it?
