What could possibly be worthy of spending yet another 7 bucks on a cell phone game to play while waiting to pick someone up in their driveway, sitting in a movie theater, or while you are on the bowl?

You know you want to spend $6.99 for unlimited access to OREGON TRAIL MOBILE!!!

That’s right!  

It’s coming soon, and actually from the screenshots I’ve seen it has much better graphics then the version this pic is from.  Although, I do feel taken back the the old days of playing with friends as part of your family that end up getting the flu, cholera, etc and having them die off.  It was always great to tell someone that last you saw them they drowned in the mississippi.  

This new game features updated graphics, new mini-games, some added perils, and AI enhanced hunting.  I really have to say that I would rather it come out for the xbox live arcade, but then it would be $10 instead of $7 …

Hopefully when Oregon trail mobile gets released you will be able to save your game, as I really can’t see me having time to play anything on my mobile phone for more than about 5 minutes at a time.  Nevertheless, it’s a definite buy for me, even if I never really play it, if only for the fond memories linked to the original title.
