With two big boys at play this weekend, there was something for everyone. If you wanted action, then you got Wanted, but if you wanted fun, comedy, and animation, then you had Wall-E. So I went and saw Wall-E this weekend. Mainly because it was at my theatre, but I will admit that I was looking forward to seeing it anyway. There was a problem though. Something must have been in the air. Maybe some harsh allergens, sawdust, the flickering of the projecter, or some strong perfume, but my eyes kept watering. I’ve been waiting not so patiently for this movie for the longest time. Comic Con in NYC graced us with a few delicious crumbs, but thanks to Black Curtain Screenings I was able to catch the adrenaline filled Wanted a few days before everyone else. MWAHAHAHA. (more…)

Look at the console system parket today. Its thriving 10x more then the last gen consoles could have ever hoped. But one console stands out the most. The Nintendo WII. This thing is basically just printing money for Nintendo. I woulnt be suprised if Nintendo was sitting on over a dozen games at the moment. Just waiting to release them when and if the insanity that is the Wii slows down. (more…)

So there I was. Alone in the theatre, the scent of tasteless popcorn burning my nostrils. Aparently the projectionist forgot to turn on the movie watcher reel, so i sit watching time trickle by until the movie starts.
