Spark Box Show Podcast visits NY ComicCon ’09!
We came, we saw, we got tons of free stuff! The complete sparkboxshow.com podcast crew went to the NY ComicCon ’09 and boy we had a blast!
This year was the biggest and best yet. There were plenty of people in costume, lots of free stuff, and we were asked to cover events later this year for various organizations. I’d say that it went damn well. Unfortunately we only went Friday and Saturday so we didn’t get to meet one of the guys from Sarcastic Gamer.(sorry about that Frawls)
We have tons of coverage coming up soon. The special extended ’09 comiccon podcast episode comes out next week, as well as various articles about the event so keep an eye out. We are even having a giveaway contest! For more info on that watch the forums and listen to next week’s podcast.

Best booths were from DC & Marvel..DC had way more free comics to give out though!

This years comic com was hella sweet. Great work Andy on the slide show. The pictures came out great, but James was right not enough of our fearless leader there should have been at least one pic of you with a hotty nurse,or vampire hunter,Batgirl, freaking bobba fett give us something. That being said we definitely have to do that again…next year we should wear costumes. James: The Mighty Thor. Chris A.j. Styles lol. Jungle Trek: Senataur. Andy: Don’t know he likes emperor palpatine, and I do think he could pull of a Marv (Sin City). Something to think about.
