Alot of things are hitting the net these days dealing with random movie rumors. Time to pass them along and what your takes are.

First off we have some Hellboy 3 news…

Guillermo Del Toro recently spoke with MTV about Hellboy 3. When asked about the sequel, Del Toro stated…

“We’re three, four years away from anything happening – so I don’t think anyone is, you know, in a big hurry”.

Del Toro is currently in New Zealand, preparing for the Hobbit films, which is what will slow Hellboy 3. Del Toro has said that he has no problem with another director stepping in for the rumored B.P.R.D. (Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense) spin off film.

Next up…

IESB is reporting that Batman 3 is already in the writing stage, and that Christopher Nolan, Jonathan Nolan and David Goyer are currently working on the script.

Producer Charles Roven was questioned about the report, but did not exectly confirm of deny anything…

“The creative driver of the project at this point is Chris. There’s really nothing more for me to say about that. When he feels that he’s got something to talk about, then we’ll be able to talk about it”.

Also…

Some rumors regarding Resident Evil 4 have appeared on joblo.com .

According to the story, Paul W.S. Anderson will once again write the screenplay, but allow someone else to direct. The screenplay is said to be in its second draft, and very similar to Resident Evil 2, but with better dialog.

Patrick Tatopoulos, the creature effects supervisor from Resident Evil 3 will once again be in charge of creature effects. With the amount of fight scenes in the script, martial arts choreographer will be brought into the fold.

Filming will take place in Tokyo and Toronto, with Toronto being the stand in for Alaska.

And lastly…

Bloody Disgusting reports that Robert Rodriguez is in talks to produce a reboot of Predator. The reboot would apparently have more than one predator. It’s probably unlikely that Rodriguez would direct considering how many projects he is lined up for.
