What do you guys feel the hardest game you've ever played was?  I've been playing through Ninja Gaiden Black as of late, and man, I never got this far before, and after I beat this, I never wanna touch this game again.  But that also brings up a good point.  Games nowadays can't really be as hard games a while back since the inclusion of save points.  So if I had to pick the hardest game ever, it'd probably have to be the original Sonic the Hedgehog.

Yeah, see at least some of the old NES games had parsewords, that was almost like having a saving system.  But some of them were just so unforgiving.  I wonder how video games survived back than.
