Hey all,

I was just wondering what everyone's Top Ten was for movies? Mine are as follows from least to most favorite:

- Along Came Polly (The first movie I laughed out loud a lot at.)

- Kung Pow! Enter the Fist (Oedekerk is so funny to me, not sure why…)

- Thumb Wars

- The Godthumb

- Thumbtanic

- Billy Madison

- Child's Play

- Nightmare on Elm Street (My first classic trademark Horror movie.

- The Blair Thumb (Marsh, baby! Marshmallow!)

- 45 Days (Band Documentary about Christian Metal band Demon Hunter)

The Thumb films are only about a regular television show length, but they are still considered movies. What about you all?

lol very interseting choices Dead-Cypher :) Mine are in no particular order and I really have a few thousand favorite movies, including a whole bunch of old movies (1920s – 1950s) that I could go on and on about. But I'll spare you and mention my more main-stream favorites…

1. Peter Jackson's King Kong (Best movie EVER!!)

2. The Village (Really.)

3. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (A lot of childhood memories attached to this one.)

4. Spiderman 1 (The first one ROCKED! I still have my costume!)

5. The Island (Awesome movie… great thrill ride from beginning to end!)

6. Batman Returns (Not so crazy about Michael Keaton as Batman, but very well done movie. Very dark with great artistic flares.)

7. Most of the original Disney animated films. (Anything made after 1994 pretty much stinks, expect for maybe The Emperor's New Groove.)

8. Lady in the Water (I thought it was a triumph of storytelling with great figurative meanings and remarkable characters. I don't care WHAT you think. lol)

9. The Terminal (I just like airports.)

10. Life With Father (Go look it up.)

11. Jurassic Park (Sorry.. I couldn't leave this one out. lol… "Must go faster…")

I just know I am going to leave a lot of movies out. But hey, for the sake of posting and going with the flow. These are in no order though, I couldn't possibly rank them.

300 (the fact it was all filmed in an old train station blew me away. Also I am a sucker for the way the visuals were done. Plus a good battle always makes me happy)

Gangs of New York (The visuals, emotional highs/lows, and characters made me love this film. Plus the Fact Daniel Day Lewis played Bill The Butcher… I dont think he can play a bad role if he tried)

Empire Strikes Back (This movie to me was by far the best in the series)

Terminator (Its a classic)

Dawn of the dead (Original only! A good Zombie flick always has room in my dvd rack)

Gladiator ( I think I watched this like 20 times in the first year I had it. Im not a Russel Crowe fan normally, but this movie was very well done and kept up the pace)

Unbreakable (Amazing superhero story. Who actually saw Mr Glass was the villian? I know I didn't. And I can normally figure out M.Nights movies really quick. I figured the village in 5 min)

Iron Man (The first Marvel superhero move that was done right)

Jurassic Park ( A classic, remember how you felt when you first saw the dinosaurs in the fields?)

(Runner up is Troy, the visuals and story are great. Plus the battle scenes. Wow. Though that damn Brad Pitt, always killing the good guys)

I know there are a ton of movies out there that I have skipped, but these are the ones I can pretty much watch at any time. Heck I know this year I will most likely find 5 more films that I could watch at any time. Or at least I hope.
